Their Compuer Generated Animation All Looks the Same
By now everyone has seen the clip of the Tiger Woods animated “reenactment.” No? It’s here.
The really funny thing about the Apple Daily clip (it’s a media outlet known for its animated segments, especially a recent ultra-violent one that got the organization fined) is that Apple Media is Taiwanese despite the video being posted as “from China.” Everyone from TMZ to Deadspin noted it being from “China.” While Chinese and Taiwanese may all look the same, they tend to, you know, not always see eye to eye.
This is especially absurd on today’s Gawker TV segment where the Apple Daily clip from “our friends in China” comes just below a clip accusing Wanda Sykes and Geroge Lopez of “recycling the same tired, old racist jokes.”
FYI, Apple Daily is based in Hong Kong, also published in Taiwan. Not a stretch to call it Chinese, even though its content often carries anti-Beijing tilt due to owner’s political orientation.
